About Raymond Doward
Welcome to my gallery,
My name is Raymond Doward and my painting Abstract #25 has currently been Licensed by NBC Universal Studios as a backdrop for the Megyn Kelly Today Show. The International and National Contemporary Publication has also published two of my paintings.
I am primarily a self-taught artist who has been painting and drawing for over 15 years. My works of art can be found in the homes of hundreds of private collectors in the New York area and abroad. I have had numerous one man shows and I have learned through trial and error what the customer is looking for, because my customers satisfaction is what has been and continues to be what is important to me. A special and unforgetable moment in my career was recieving an art grant to paint a giant mural on a major building in my city with a small group of children ages 8-12. The name of the project was entitled \"Children make the world go around\" the excitement on the childrens faces after seeing what they had helped to create is to me what art is really all about, people young and old expressing themselves through creativity!
